NFR: Network for Family Recovery

Addiction is a very complicated disease that affects not only the individual but also their spouses, children, families and friends. Having walked this path as a result of a loved one’s addiction, it is my desire to extend help to those in need, to those who struggle with this heavy weight which so hampers joyful and purposeful living for all concerned. I personally found a need for a safe place that would contribute information, direction, understanding and support so vital for recovery without having to expend excessive energy in the search. It is my goal to build a strong network of resources that families can use for their own restorative process and to provide an avenue for others to aid in that restoration. It is my desire to reduce the shame and stigma often associated with this disease in order to save lives and experience healing for families. It is my hope that many will find the encouragement and understanding needed to continue in their own recovery.
