The Center for Recovering Families (CRF) provides a full menu of services tailored to the unique needs of each individual and family seeking treatment. Clients of all ages seek services for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our youngest client has not yet been born, and the oldest client is over 85 years of age. Based on an initial clinical assessment CRF staff provide intensive and supportive outpatient treatment, individual and family counseling, group therapy including aftercare groups, and/or recovery support services. Adolescents who are using or are beginning to experiment with alcohol/drugs and other high-risk behaviors can receive individual and family counseling and can participate in a High-Risk Behavior Class, while their parents participate in a Parent Support Group. Finally, children of all ages who are impacted by a parent’s (or other family member’s) substance use/addiction can receive individual, family and play therapy and those specifically between the ages of 7 and 12 can participate in a 4-day prevention and support program.
